Facts of the call:
20 proposals from 20 different countries were submitted for our cross-border funded joint research programme "Effective Asset Management meeting Future Challenges (ENR2 SRO4)". 9 of those countries are not members of the funding Programme Executive Board (PEB) of ERA-NET ROAD and even 6 countries are not ENR2 memebers. This proves openness of this cross-border funded joint research programme!
The ENR2 SRO4 Programme Executive Selection Meeting was on the 8th and 9th of April 2010 in Copenhagen at the Danish Road Directorate. The PEB jointly evaluated the proposals and selected 7 projects covering the following objectives:
A: Meeting stakeholders’ requirements and expectations
B: Understanding asset performance
C: Development of suitable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the future
D: Framework for optimised asset management
The contract negotiations are under way. The projects will commence once the negotiations have been completed successfully.
